BINGHAMTON, NY – The Binghamton Senators, in conjunction with Dunkin’ Donuts, are proud to announce that this season’s “Goals for Coffee” initiative concluded with a total donation of 207 pounds of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee to the Broome County Catholic Charities Food Pantry. 

 

For the second consecutive season Dunkin’ Donuts pledged to donate one pound of coffee for every goal scored by the B-Sens at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.  In 37 games at the Arena this season, Binghamton scored 137 goals while the Cornell University’s Men’s Hockey team scored 70 goals at home this season to bring the total donation to 207 pounds of coffee.

 

Jeff Bedford, General Manager for Dunkin’ Donuts of Central New York, presented the total donation to Sandra Ohlsen of Broome County Catholic Charities Food Pantry during a first intermission ceremony this past Friday, April 25 during Game 1 of the B-Sens Eastern Conference Quarterfinal matchup against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
