Dan Snyder Could Save His Legacy By Signing Colin Kaepernick

“It would say in his obituary, 'Dan Snyder, who bought the Redskins and allowed to Colin Kaepernick to recommence his career, died yesterday.'”

-- Clay Travis.

Clay Travis believes one of the most hated owners in sports Dan Snyder, who’s been one of the league’s most notorious punchlines the last two decades, could become a cultural icon overnight if he goes out and signs Colin Kaepernick.

Kaepernick, who is obviously considered a luminous phenomenon by his cult following, might be regarded as the league’s most untouchable player, but Travis says the same social groups who despised Snyder for acquiring Reuben Foster, as well as for his eternal resistance to changing the Redskins’ mascot deemed offensive to some, would instantly celebrate Snyder as a hero.

Not only would Snyder be a part of one of the most notorious heel changes in sports history, but he could then parlay the Kaepernick move into signing Kareem Hunt. Snyder could brand the Redskins as the franchise who believes in second chances and Snyder would then turn into a revolutionary figure who would be favorably remembered for the rest of the time.

Listen to the full audio below as Clay says the Skins have nothing to lose considering Mark Sanchez is their first-string quarterback at the moment.
