Lakers superstar LeBron James had his NBA record double-digit scoring streak come to an end in the most fitting fashion when he passed up a chance to take the final shot of the game but instead dropped a dime to Rui Hachimura who hit the game-winning shot at the buzzer. Dan is convinced that when all is said and done, we will consider LeBron to be the best that ever played, especially if he can adjust to a secondary role and win another title in his 23rd NBA season.
Dan Patrick: “LeBron’s trying to figure out how does he fit in with this team, and I think that’s what’s going to be fascinating to watch because they were a good team without LeBron playing, and now that he’s back, his job, I think, is to blend in and not say, ‘I’m back! Everything goes through me.’”
