The NCAA Men's Basketball will conclude this weekend with two games tomorrow and the Championship ultimately decided on Monday night yet the biggest story coming from this year's Madness seems to be the changing landscape of college athletics due to N.I.L. and transfer portal changes. While money has always had an undue influence, now that it's all out in the open and above board, it has become the driving force and has destroyed any semblance of what amateur athletics once was.
Doug Gottlieb: "These are four great teams, and we should be focusing on the actual basketball and coaching, but unfortunately money can ruin everything. College basketball was never pure, it was never, you know, white as the driven snow, but it was not polluted like it is now."
